From 18/10, one topic has suddenly gone viral in Wechat moments. That is a WeChat Index diagram, this diagram shows that on 18/10, the Keyword 移民（immigration）Search Volume of was as 100 times as one month before, reached 1156.66%.
What happened? Or the more accurate question: who have been in panic? what happened has caused this panic?
Who have been in panic? Normally, people who will think about or seriously consider about immigration, are people who have seen the world beyond China. Those people are better educated, who the brainwash of government has less efficient worked on them.
what happened has caused this panic? According to One famous columnist 莫之许 （twitter ID @qinglongzui）, the answer is: Putin is visiting China. If his answer was correct, that meant that, no matter how the government of China supports Russia, deep down in the hearts of a great deal of middle-class Chinese fear the closeness between China and Russia. Putin’s visit is regarded as ominous for the future of China.
I am not sure of his answer is correct, because in China, there has been never lack of news which can trigger such panic. Let’s read another diagram. The below diagram showed the Search Volume about “how to immigrate” “where to immigrate” …. all soared up after ShangHai lockdown.
So, Living in panic, living in uncertainty, that is the new normality and unavoidable reality that a great deal of Chinese know they are facing.
My question is : now, people still have option of Immigration, if, if one day China closes the door of immigration, where their panic will and can go?
